NIOTA CITY HALL WILL BE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC STARTING MONDAY, June 1st, 2020.
WE ASK THAT ANYONE NEEDING SERVICES EITHER FROM THE CITY RECORDER OR NIOTA WATER WORKS TO PLEASE FOLLOW THESE PRECAUTIONARY STEPS TO HELP US MAINTAIN A
SAFE AND HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT:
  • ONLY 2-3 PEOPLE AT ONE TIME INSIDE WAITING FOR ASSISTANCE
  • MUST STAND ON MARKED AREAS TO MAINTAIN 6’ SOCIAL DISTANCING
  • IF YOU SHOW ANY SIGNS OF BEING ILL YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE AND CALL 423-568-2584.

UPCOMING EVENTS

June 6th - A “Roaring 20’s Dance” with period dress and music.

 

July (TBD)- Ice Cream Social, playing games of the era, and live music!
 

August 18th – Lunch on the Lawn and tour of the Hathburn Mansion and the Cemetery.
August 26th – Celebration of the day the United States gave the women the right to vote! Numerous activities are in the planning for this special day.
Additional City activities include:

 

May 2nd & 3rd  - National Train Day and Model Train Show
 

September 12th  - 9th Annual Fried Green Tomato Festival ​
