City of Niota is excited to announce the launch of TextMyGov services as another convenient way for residents, employees and visitors to communicate with us. You can sign up to receive text message notifications whenever the city needs to get a message out such as Upcoming Events, Garbage Delays, Storm Warnings, Road Closures, and Power Outages.

 

For city-wide Text Notifications, text NIOTA to the number 91896

 

What to Expect:

• After the initial keyword is sent, you will receive a confirmation message asking you to reply YES to verify opt-in.

• You may receive multiple text messages a month with a notification for each alert category opted-in to.

• Message and data rates may apply. Check with your carrier for more details.

 

How to Opt-Out:

Text STOP at any time to remove yourself from the notification list.

This option is for two-way communication.  Signing up for this service allows you to report issues as well as ask any question you may have.
